PLEASE BE AWARE THAT REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS CANNOT BE ORDERED OVER THE TELEPHONE.

health_tech1If you regularly need medication, the computer will generate a “repeat request slip” each time an item is repeated. This slip must accompany each request to ensure that the correct medication is prescribed; therefore telephone requests cannot be accepted. If the repeat slip is lost or mislaid please submit a written request for the items required.

If you enclose a stamped, addressed envelope, your prescription will be returned to you. Otherwise the request can be dropped in at the surgery or faxed on 01244 313497 and collected within 48 hours, excluding bank holidays and weekends.

Alternatively you can order your repeat medication online via this website. If you require instructions on how to use the online facility please ask at the reception desk.

Patients on regular repeat medication will be reviewed at least annually by their Doctor. You will be reminded when this is due by a note attached your prescription. The purpose of the review is to monitor your treatment and to ensure that the medication is effective.

If you take a number of medications you may find that they get out of sync and are not all due at the same time. If you find that this is happening please tell us how many tablets you have left of each medication and we will give you enough to get your prescriptions back in line.
